Wildfire burns west of Soledad, Cal Fire quickly knocks it down

A fire started in the hills west of Soledad, Friday morning. According to Cal Fire, the fire started in the area of River Road and Camphora Road on private property. The fire was reported around 11:30 a.m. Cameras watching the fire show aircrews using retardant to slow the fire. The fire burned an estimated 8-acres.
