Watsonville police investigating deadly hit-an-run crash

The Watsonville Police Department is investigating a deadly hit-and-run crash. According to investigators, officers were called to Main Street, near Watsonville Square, around 10:30 p.m. Thursday night for reports of a person being struck by a vehicle. The 24-year-old victim was life-flighted to a trauma center where he later died from his injuries. Police are looking for a white four-door sedan that witnesses described as leavening the scene towards Highway 1 after the crash.
