Video released Thursday captured a pilot making a harrowing emergency landing on a highway in the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina over the weekend.Watch the video in the player above Swain County Sheriff Curtis Cochran posted the video to Facebook, thanking all the agencies who helped bring the plane down safely. “We are thankful that no injuries occurred during this emergency landing and the plane is safely back in the air,” Cochran said.
