WAS LIKE SOMETHING THAT I JUST COULD NOT AVOID AND NOW THAT HE’S SEEN THE DAMEAG FIRST HAND THIS MAN WANTS TO TURN THE DANGEROUS TREND AROUND UNFORTUNATELY. A good Samaritan held down a teen a week ago who tried to run from a stolen car following a crash in Milwaukee. The stolen car crash on June 10 ended with a citizen’s arrest.Witness cellphone video shows a man holding down a teenager until the police came.”Never seen it coming and boom it was just there,” crash victim Eric Barksdale said.Barksdale told sister station WISN exclusively by phone, that a teen in a stolen red Kia drove the wrong way, hit him head-on and smashed into a truck.After impact, he said everyone in the Kia bailed, but one teen who was hurt didn’t get far.”As I looked up, I seen he was in no condition to run away, so I told him to just lay down and by the time I told him to lay down, another guy that was out there, I told him to hold him, hold him down,” Barksdale said.Officers were able to arrest the 15-year-old on the ground, but the others got away. Police said while they appreciate what this man did, they don’t recommend approaching anyone who could be a potential risk.
