Three juveniles arrested, accused of armed robbery in Greenfield

Three juvenile gang members were arrested in connection to an armed robbery in Greenfield, according to police. The robbery happened on May 31 at 9:30 p.m. at the Chevron gas station at 202 El Camino Real. According to the Greenfield police chief, one suspect went directly to the back counter and held a gun to the head of the clerk and demanded money out of the cash register. The second suspect was armed with a knife and assisted in opening the register and taking cash. The third suspect remained outside and used a baseball bat to break one of the security cameras. All three suspects then fled the store through the alley behind the gas station.After investigating and reviewing security camera footage, police were able to identify the three juveniles. On June 2, four search warrants were served at residences in Greenfield with the assistance of the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation’s Special Response Team. During the search of one of the residences, evidence of the crime was found, including the black replica gun that was used during the robbery.All three juvenile suspects were arrested and charged with armed robbery and other related charges.
