GRADUAL WARMING AND DRYING FOR THIS WEEKEND INTO NEXT WEEK AS HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS INTO THE AREA FROM THE EAST. TODAY AND TONIGHT: EXPECT BREEZY NORTHWESTERLY WINDS TO PERSIST ACROSS THE LOCAL WATERS AND THROUGH THE COASTAL GAPS TODAY. ALSO LOOK FOR A SEMI-COMPRESSED MARINE LAYER TO BRING A ROUND OF MORNING COASTAL CLOUDS AND PERHAPS SOME PATCHY FOG. OTHERWISE TEMPERATURES SHOULDNú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úLL KEEP AN EYE ON THIS JUST IN CASE.
