San Benito County breaks ground on new Riverview Regional Park

A groundbreaking was held for a new regional park in Hollister on Friday. The Riverview Regional Park will be located next to the San Benito High School pool area. The first of three phases of construction began on Friday. Phase one includes a playground, picnic area, pickleball and basketball courts. Organizers anticipate completing construction by the fall of next year. The park has been in the planning stages for 12 years.

A groundbreaking was held for a new regional park in Hollister on Friday.
