New vaccine event announced for Marina’s Gourley Clinic

MARINA — Another COVID-19 vaccine clinic has been scheduled Feb. 25 for the Veteran’s Administration Gourley Clinic in Marina.

After holding its first vaccine event Saturday, another 400 doses will be administered at the Marina clinic Feb. 25. According to an alert from Monterey County, efforts are underway to expand the amount of vaccine appointments that can be offered that day.

To receive a vaccine patients must fall into one of these categories

• Medically compromised Veterans

• Homeless veterans

• Veterans over 70

Veterans must be enrolled in VA Palo Alto Health Care System and call 650-496-2535 to register. The county emphasized this wouldn’t be a walk-in clinic, appointments need to be made.
