Man shot and killed in San Lucas: MCSO

Monterey County Sheriff’s Office detectives are investigating a deadly shooting from early Sunday morning. Gun shots were reported around 3:35 a.m. on Julius St. in San Lucas, Sunday, according to the Sheriff’s Office. Deputies who arrived to the area found Ricardo Deleon, 45, had been shot and had died before first responders arrived. No suspect has been identified by investigators. Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Rafael Garcia at 831-755-3914 or Detective Sergeant Bryan Hoskins at 831-755-3773.
