Los Gatos teen advances to gymnastic Olympic trials alongside Simone Biles

A Los Gatos gymnast was named to the United States senior women’s national gymnastics team and has a chance of qualifying for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.Emily Lee, an 18-year-old who will head to UCLA next year, was named to the national team along with 17 other people. At the end of June, she will have a chance of competing at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials to see if she will compete at the Olympics. There are four slots on the U.S, gymnastics team. According to USA Gymnastics, Lee is the 2021 Winter Cup floor exercise silver medalist and the all-around bronze medalist. She was the all-around champion at the international 2020 L’International Gymnix.
