Think the weight of sitting out back-to-back seasons with a devastating injury has gotten in the way of the Warriors’ Klay Thompson living his best life? Think again.
Even though he’s been busy working on healing his Achilles tendon, Thompson’s social life has needed no such rehabilitation. Warriors assistant coach Mike Brown can vouch for that.
Brown told another in a long line of classic Klay stories while being interviewed on KNBR-680 Wednesday. He revealed that Thompson has actually driven his boat to Warriors games in San Francisco.
Thompson showed off his boat, as well as his relaxing pose on top of the boat, in an Instagram post while wishing everyone a Happy Valentine’s Day.

Even for a guy who has more fun than just about anyone, it doesn’t get much cooler than that.
Brown said Thompson recently asked him about “The Ramp,” a bar/restaurant that sits across the street from the Warriors Chase Center home.
“Klay said, ‘Mike, you gotta hook me up with those people,’ said Brown, a regular visitor to the establishment who’s friendly with the owner. “I said, ‘Why?’
“He’s like, ‘They have a boat dock right in the back and that’s the perfect place for me to bring my boat to the game, get out, walk across the street, I’m at Chase Center getting ready to rock ‘n roll.’ ”
To which Brown had just one question.
“I’m like, ‘Who drives their boat to the game?’ Klay Thompson,” he said with a laugh.
