Golden State Warriors select Patrick Baldwin Jr. in 2022 NBA draft

The NBA champions selected Baldwin Jr. with the 28th overall pick. Baldwin Jr. played forward at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

The Golden State Warriors selected University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee forward Patrick Baldwin Jr. in the 2022 NBA draft. Baldwin is a 6-foot, 10-inch forward. Prior to the pandemic, Baldwin was the highest-ranked player in his high school class. After suffering a serious ankle injury during his senior year, Baldwin chose to play for Milwaukee where his father is the head coach.The ankle injury continued to limit Baldwin in college. He only played 11 games with the Panthers in the 2021-22 season. In that small sample, Baldwin averaged 12.1 points per game, along with 5.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists. Baldwin shot 34% from the field.
