Faith Mora and Mariah Changco, both of which were critical components to Hartnell College’s run to a state runner-up finish last fall in cross-county, are running at Cal State Northridge.

The pair have made an immediate impact on the program, finishing their first meet as the teams No. 3 and No. 4 runners at an invitational at UC Irvine.

Changco, who prepped at Hollister, clocked 17:09.1 over 4k, while Mora – a North County grad, was a few strides behind in 17:24.1.

Last fall the pair earned all-conference honors in helping the Panthers to a conference title and back-to-back Northern California team titles.
