Attempted robbery turns into shooting in King City, police say

A person was shot in the back in King City during an attempted robbery, Thursday night, police said. According to investigators, the victim said they were approached by four men who demanded his wallet. When the victim refused a fight broke out and the victim was shot once in the back. King City police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the group of men. Anyone living in the 400-700 block of S. Vanderhurst Street or on Villa Drive is asked to check their home surveillance systems for suspicious activity.Anyone with more details can contact Det.
