Two hikers were rescued at Garrapata State Park on Friday. According to the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office, the man and woman hiking dup called 911 around 1:10 p.m. after they ran out of water. Temperatures were in the high 70s. Related | Heat advisory in place for much of the Central CoastState park crews located the hikers with a drone and walked them back out to safety.

Two hikers were rescued at Garrapata State Park on Friday.
